Old Fidel vs New Fidel

Here is another one of those “worth a thousand words” photographs.

Simple message: in Cuba, you can take Fidel Castro’s picture off the wall any time you want … provided you replace it with another one exactly the same.

And doesn’t this lady look happy, eh?

Here is a link to a great article on Fidel Castro that is definitely worth reading: http://duckdown.blogspot.com/2007/01/thoughts-on-fidel-castro-and-his-great.html

There are many things wrong with that article, the main one of which is that the author of said article is CLUELESS

For the author's sake, I hope it's no worse than being clueless, but at this stage of the game, after nearly 50 years, being clueless about Cuba or Castro is only really acceptable if the afflicted party is mentally RETARDED.

Well then it looks like that is what the author of said article is, mentally RETARDED.

Really, to boast about all the help Cuba gives in medical services to other countries while her citizens can't even get an asprin, but foreigners in that country get top notch service.

YES MENTALLY RETARDED is a perfect label for that author.

He should read this blog some more and write less, and all the other sources from people who have in fact lived in such a paradise...
